Christantus Uche Fuels Comfortable Crystal Palace Victory at Irish Side Shelbourne.

Fringe Players Seize the Opportunity
This occasion provided a chance for several Palace's fringe players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, finding the net for the second game in match.

After the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still room for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the visiting side.
